I agree with Stan. Bulletin boards such as this are about ideas, not individuals. We all have our own personalities which will come through, and just like the multitude of boat designs and construction methods, the world is richer for that diversity. Recognize that everyone has something to share, and no one is born with the knowlege that George or anyone else brings to this forum. We get it through the hard work of trying new ideas, and digging out the work that others have done that help us do better work. Being an engineer myself, I recognize that George brings a really fresh approach to what often looks to me like a craft built on trial and error, myth and misconception. I hope one of George's contributions is to push everyone to a higher standard of engineering. Let's hope he keeps sharing. I'll admit I got a dig into George once. Let's all keep it good natured and respectful, and keep everyone participating who wishes to.
