Well, I got the work area up to 65 with no real problems and glassed away. Now a new problem, Nick you instructions called for two Gal of epoxy I got 1,5 inthe kit and of course I'm out now..spilled some experiment with some and wasted some.... anyways I can get system three ont the island here, is that compatable with the MAS system or would yu reccomend letting it all cure for a week then sand & apply the system 3?
: : I'm up to the stage where I glass, I've had a couple of different reading sources that approach the process differently, Nick's does a sealer coat then glassing and others go right to glassing what's the difference. What do I get to thion out the MAS system that I got with Nick's kit? Also any tips on heating a workshop in Alaska? it's my garage here in Sitka, 28X14 with 11' cieling, it's warm enough to work in, but outside it's always 40's and dampuntil summer!
: : I guess I'll have to get a thermometer to accurately measure the heat ands maybe a cieling fan to keep the heat from going upstairs?
: I have recently been skipping the seal coat. The MAS
: Epoxy is thin enough that it will soak right through
: the glass and get sucked up by the wood without any
: problem. You do not need to thin MAS epoxy.
