Problems lofting Guillemot stations #9 & #10

I've been transferring all the offsets (including those reflected in the "erratas") to manila paper following the instructions from Nick's book.
But on sections #9 & #10, in the same deck buttock (8 inches) I've noticed a severe deflection of the curve, making a kind of "V".
Actually the upper side of the curve is just informative, because that's the place for the copckit but... who knows... maybe I am not doing something well.
So here is my question: Should I cut the pattern following this depression or, instead, I just smooth the curve connecting the adjacent points?
Thanks in advance
