Start as early in the day as you can, while it is still cool. The epoxy will start to set up rapidly at that temperature.
Work fast. Mix small batches of resin. If it starts to congeal while you are working, dump it and start with fresh stuff.
Keep clean rags handy to wipe sweat off of you, so it doesn't drip into the works. Don't use good towels. or paper towels. You'll grab these while still wearing gloves which will certainly have epoxy drips on them. The epoxy on your gloves will destroy the good towels, and trying to pull paper towels out will be a mess.
