I want to build a kayak using the strip method. I currently paddle a Current Design's "Storm" which is 17 feet long, 24 inches wide, 14.75 inches deep and has a cockpit that is 17.5 x 32.5 inches in size. I paddle on Lake Superior with this boat, from day trips to 2-3 day camping trips. I am 6 foot 2 inches tall, weigh 230 pounds and am not very flexible (ie. I love the large cockpit to get in and out of). I love the Storm design for what I do!

Given all the above, could anybody out there recommend a design for me to build out of strips and where I can get the plans? Thanks folks!
