Today when removing the masking tape after I had painted the hull some of the epoxy came loose with the tape (on the deck). I started scraping and on several spots the last layer of epoxy came off in scales like really old paint. I presume this is due to the amine blush wich I cannot have removed completely (washed with soap and water rinsed and went over the surface with acetone) What should I do? should i scrape the surface completely to see where the last coat did not bond to the previous sand it put some more resin on sand it again and put the varnish on or should i just varnish it and hope it stays in place ???????
