Here are a few photos my most recent Outer Island. I am very pleased with the design! This boat paddles very well in a varitiy of conditions. Changes to Jay Babina's design include a slight reduction in volume, an enlarged cockpit and a 1/4 turn hatch hold down system that seems to work quite well. I have included a shot of my 2 year old Outer Island next to the new one. The "new" design is a great refinement.
