The clamping jigs that I made have an inside radius cut to the right dimension. With sandpaper attached, it blends the shear in nicely. Between the cockpit beams, I just blended to each side, and cut with a hand plane for the transition.
BTW, did you see my comments on the lack or rudder performance on the Tred Avon? Is that a concern for Swiftwood?
