the holes may be filled by the screw initially but I find that over time the screw gets loose... so you can drill,screw,unscrew,soak with unthickened epoxy,let harden,redrill(undersize),screw or drill oversize,fill with thickened epoxy,let harden,redrill(correct size) I could be over cautious but I don't feel good about epoxying in screws,
