Tony, Maybe it depends on the epoxy. I use Raka epoxy. I had to hurry up finishing my last boat to meet a photo schedule. The varnish went on after 3 days of epoxy cure. Not a problem. This one had a painted hull, and that was done 24 hours after the epoxy - again, no problem. Not my usual proceedure, but it worked fine. Good luck, but this probably still doesn't clear up your confusion.
