Well after a little hunting here is what I found out about the corrosion issue:
The manufacturer claims that the latches are rated for a "NEMA 4" enclosure. Here is a definition from NEMA of what a NEMA type 4 enclosure is:
Type 4 - Enclosures constructed for either indoor or outdoor use to provide a degree of protection to personnel against incidental contact with the enclosed equipment; to provide a degree of protection against falling dirt, rain, sleet, snow, windblown dust, splashing water, and hose-directed water; and that will be undamaged by the external formation of ice on the enclosure.

This still does not give the final answer on saltwater corrosion resistance, but it does iterate their water resistance. If I decide to use them I will use the Black power coated ones to help on the corrsion issue.
Now to see if I can get samples from our distributer....
