Linda- I am in the process of building a GE 13. I am a little smaller than you (5,0, 105 lbs) so the extra small craft is extremely important to me. It has been "easy" so far in terms of how all of the pieces fit together, although I do a lot of head scratching since I don't really know what I am doing.

I have paddled a Piccolo and it is a lot of fun. To me the drawback to the Piccolo, other than it's not made of wood :), is that you can't get bulkheads. However, the dimensions are very similar to the GE13 so I think it will fit me just right!

I have also paddled a GE 15 and it was heaven! Nancy
