I'm working on my first boat, and learning as I go. I did the inside of my West River 180 first, so at least the worst is on the inside! I should have been more aggresive in cutting out wrinkles after the first coat. The outside is looking better. I sanded to 220, but got "fuzzing" when I tried to wash the dust off. Ended up wet sanding to 320 to get rid of the fuzzing. Took a suggestion off this board, and layed the cloth out on the hull, brushed it out with a clean paint brush, then let it sit for a day before starting in with epoxy. By the way, MAS epoxy says no acetone in capital letters! I rolled on the initial and subsequent coats very thin, then tipped the bubbles out. I've put on 6 coats so far. How thin? I can coat the boat with 1 pump now. most coats were less than 2 pumps to cover the whole boat. How thick is it supposed to be when it's done? I figure I'd like to have the cloth completely covered (filled) to avoid sanding into it later. maybe 2 more coats. The outside of the hull is looking great. No drips, one small wrinkle, and very few bubbles. Don't want to screw it up now! TIA, Mark
