I bought it at a local store in Dartmouth Nova Scotia (Princess Auto) - I just saw it in a catalog. ~$70 Cdn

No really good answer for why. Others on the list made positive comments, I liked the all plastic make up, no back flow, plus the mechanism worked for the location inside a kayak.
