Hmm...not a bad idea. You could just stick one of those on a USGS topo and not even worry about photocopying it. These would also be pretty good for adding a rose to a NOAA chart if your chart has the rose in the wrong spot. i.e. on a fold, or worse yet, on the back side of the area you've folded to fit in your chart case.
Since my local blue print supplier is also the topo map supplier, I'll have to ask next time I'm down there.
