I found this interesting quote on the OpenWater Kayaks, L.L.C. web site (Roberts' site)...

"I know of no builder who gives information on the internet who chooses to build good quality boats.)"

This was in his "Help For The Backyard Builder" section, whereby he (a builder) "gives information on the internet". Infer what you like.
