I asked about this a while ago. I went through the epoxy on the chines. I used the sander on the flat sections successfully, but resorted to hand sanding lightly on the corners after re-epoxying the sand-throughs. Anyway, having had it in the water a few times now, I would suggest making sure that the epoxy is good and thick especially at the bow and stern where it takes a beating, even on sandy beaches. I will have to recoat mine now. Good luck,
