Not too pleased with the capability of the Mill Creek 13 as a sailing craft. Due to the depth and restriction of the cockpit, it is very difficult to offset the healing tendency in a moderate breeze. Thinking about outriggers. Is it worth the effort? Any other opinions?
Also, I find that the bow of the Mill Creek rides quite high. Nearly 30 inches of the bow is out of the water while paddling. I tried to sit forward of where I mounted the seat with little effect on bringing the bow down. The only thing I can think of would be to add some weight in the forward compartment? Will this mess anything else up?
Thanks,
Mark
