I've had the same hair-brained idea myself. Came up with a plan similar to N. Penny's. I wouldn't glass over the whole thing if I were you. I don't think it would be clear enough to see fish through when you were done. You'll need to create lips on both sides to let the glass rest and then silicone the heck out of it. Good luck. Paul p.s.I'll save G.R. the trouble of posting and tell you right away that your boat will be worth zero if you make a structural cut in it like that. ;^)
