You might want to try it on a piece of scrap to see if it would be clear enough, it would certainly make it stronger. I was thinking you could even do it in a curved area of the hull by warming the plexiglass with a heat gun to make it bend. There are stronger types of clear plastic than plexiglass that you might want to consider. It seems like it would be hard to keep it from getting scratched up though. Regards, Jim Burnell
