I installed a hand pump using a clip I bought. I epoxied it to the under side of the deck. It's plastic and is similar to a clip you would use to hold up a garden rake in a garage. You can see it by looking closely for the ends of the clip holding the pump at http://pages.cthome.net/bobbycurtis/images/11out01a.gif I got the clip at The Small Boat Shop in Norwalk, CT.
