I would like to add my thanks for the postings on this site. I have been lurking now for several weeks because I am in process of getting into kayaking. I am a 69 year old getting into a new recreational field. I have went through all phases of getting to a kayak. Buy, build a s&g to ending on a strip built. I'm actually going for Nick's Great Auk. It sounded like that might be a good place to start for an "Old Man" to get into kayaking. I've just finished cutting out the stations and will be ready to mount them soon.

I've learned much from the posting here and have made many notes that should help me with future problems. So I thank everyone who contributes here.
