Generally speaking, how far does the averege person kayak in a day. I bicycle a lot and the Century [100 miles] is a standard for whats considered the outer limits of human endurance for the fit person. It takes some weeks to builds up to that level. True some fanatics do 200 miles in a day, but the Century is a classic standard of cycling endurance for the fit athlete.

That said, whats something to aim for in kayaking? How far does the averege day trip go that occur in clubs and such. True there are no black and white answers, but id appreciate your general feeling here. Is 20 miles a "kayak century"?

Lastly, what does the averege Kayaker paddle in distance? Whats an outing usually consist of for the averege joe and the athletic joe? Say youve been paddeling for a couple of months every weekend and now you want to do a long daytrip... how long can long be? 1/2 - 10 - 20 - 75 miles? And, [heh heh], lets say wind isnt a factor just to make your answers easier. Essentially, how long does the averege Kayaker tour beforte going onto land to stretch or whatever.
