There is a good tool discussion group at Wood magazine, www.woodmagazine.com. If I recall correctly, within thier limitations the DeWalt and Ryobi are both OK saws. Generally, the tabletop saws arent as accurate or as powerful as the contractor and cabinet saws. If the budget permits, you'd be happier with a contractors saw. Jet is a good one, Delta a little more money. I have read good things about the new Ridgid that home d'pot sells.
