I went through the same decision about 6 months ago. Finally went with the Ryobi because of the added features. Mainly the router/jig saw table attachment and the dust collection. If you will be doing cove/bead strips you will need a router table.
The only problem I have had with the saw is the base is a little too light. I had to stick a few 5 gallon paint buckets in the base to keep the saw from tipping when I was pushing wood through.
With the router attachment, I had to replace the boards on the add-on router fence. The ones in the kit were not nearly straight and way too short.
Once the strips were done and I started building my boat I have been using the saw as a sanding center. I clamped my belt sander to the mitre fence and use it to make scarf joints, etc.
I also purchased the casters for the base. These help tremendously when I have to move the saw around the shop which I do often.
