Like I said in the original post, I am new here, and had assumed that George was saying that there was a way to build lighter, stronger boats by modifying the home building process. It never occured to me that I would have to invest in a composite laboratory with R&D facilities. Maybe George would let me know which is the case.

I understand that high heat layups are stronger, once again, I assumed home building ability and did not mention them.

As for worrying about it, PLEASE DON'T!!! This was simply an interesting problem to me, I didn't mean to stress you out. I simply made the original post to see if others thought it would increase strength and lighten a kayak. Again, this is the reason I stuck with only modifications to the existing process.
