Jim, If Nick was that worried about off-topic posts, he'd have stopped us long ago from talking about strip-built toppers, Corvettes, the Darwin Award and Urban Legends, lantern cases, weapons to use on Jet Skis, and how to keep our spouse happy while we're building.
Realistically, the difference between strip kayaks and strip canoes is like talking Fuji apples and Gala apples :)
