I finished a Mcarthy Wee Lassie II this summer.....best project I've ever done. It is a big hit with the family...my wife is threatening to take it away 'til I can get her a wee lassie built....same goes for my daughters. The Wee Lassie will great for small folks. These are great little boats. I had the chance last weekend to paddle a kayak for the first time.....a clc 15.5' boat, built by the owner. It was sooo easy to paddle. There was a bit of a chop..a wet (but fun!) ride in the Wee Lassie. that kayak just cut right through effortlessly...amazing...and more stable than I could have imagined. My wee II is great and I look forward to building more, but I gotta build me a kayak....soon. This boat building stuff is addictive. The information here is the best around...thanks to all, and thanks for sharing the forum with canoe folks! garland
