Dale, I have owned the Ryobi for about a year now and am very happy with it I recently finished milling all the lumber for the Guillemot I am building and was very happy with the performance. I set the saw up to do both the cutting and the router milling work and was able to switch back and forth as needed using both sides of the fence with ease. I made my own router fence and vacuum system that worked great. I did not have any problems as others indicated with the saw tipping. I owned a jet 12" contractors prior to the ryobi and all though I liked it, I feel the ryobi is smoother running and it has a better motor. I would recommend it hands down.
