Bobby, I have been using a Master Spar Varnish sold by Columbia Paints. It offers UV protection. They sell a catalyst - hardener that you add at 1:16. It is very toxic, and requires respiratory protection, but I have been very happy with the results. I have been using it for ten years on canoes and kayaks. It's durable!
