I built a Wee Lassie for myself and found that my 9 year old gandson was able to paddle it without problem. I built him a Pgymy Goldeneye 13 and he loves it! His sister who just turned 6 has gotten interested in it and now she paddles it. Both have paddled for distances of a couple of miles without much fatigue although paddle weight is a problem. They both greatly prefer the kayak to the Wee Lassie. Howard.
