I am in the process of building the guillemot and have reached the glassing stage. After reviewing the materials list in nick's book, I had a few questions I hope someone can answer.

1. How wide should the 6 oz. glass material I order be? Newfound Woodworks has 38" and 60" by the yard.

2. Nick discusses graphite powder for use on the hatch lip to make them black. Where can I get some?

3. The materials list in Nicks book indicates 1" tape 4 times the boat length and 2" tape 2 times the boat length. However, the description for joining the hull and deck Figure 7-36 appears the other way around (4 times for the 2" and 2 times for the 1"). I assume the list is a typo, Am I correct?
