One thought I had for a design cart:
Do an end pour drill through an oversize hole Epoxy in a pipe to act as a flange
All you would have to carry is an axle and two wheels to thread through the pipe. Pick up the kayak by the front end grab and roll it along.
It might create undue stress in a fully loaded kayak so you could potentially put the pipe up closer to the center and reinforce it with blocks glued to the inside of the hull.
