If you make the hole smaller than the bungee, it can become a self sealing unit. Cut the end of the bungee at an angle so that you can get it started through the hole and then stretch the cordand slide it through. When you release the pressure on the stretch, it will expand and fill the hole. You might also fill around the hole with silicone just in case. Paul
