I second your comment on the drips. I was building my Tern in a friend's garage, with only enough room to access one side and one end of the table. I wasn't there when the drips started dropping off the coaming. The next morning I wished I'd stayed all night and watched for them. I tried sanding them, but I couldn't get the sanding block or the electric sander under the lip. I ended up smoothing them out by hand as much as my patience allowed, but they're still there. I don't think anyone else has noticed them, but I see them every time I pull the boat out. Oh well, next time I'll get it right.
My wife isn't quite convinced she needs something better than her plastic boat, but she still hasn't tried out the Tern yet. I'm sure after she does that I'll be starting another boat...
