I installed a guzzler 500 in my guillemot expidition. I chose the 500 because it was rated at 15 GPM. The 400 model which is rated 10 GPM and is not a whole lot smaller. The 1-1/2" intake/outtake makes for a larger hole in the hull which I dressed up with a brass through port.

I have size 11-1/2 feet so space is a premium down by my foot pegs. I mounted the pump on the bow side of front bulkhead. The footpad for pumping comes through a hole in the blukhead along with an intake hose.

All of this adds some weight and looses some capacity in my front hatch. Without a bomb proof roll these trade offs are worth it to me. I also figure it is worth it to me to get the higher capacity rating. When/if I need "hands free" pumping then I want the full 15 GPM. When I do rolling practice I use the guzzler in conjunction with a hand pump. That way if I miss a roll and have to do a wet exit, I can reenter, roll and pump out in less than a min.
