Hi Ross,
I guess it annoyed me the most because it was only half developed past the others. The clearance is obviously where it surpasses all the others and so you can at least put the cart near the balance pt. Some of the others are so small ( Sea Kayak Krappy and Crouchdown Low Cart ) that they're stuck at the back of your yak or you start looking like the Hunchback (yah I know, but looks are deceiving!).
The mosher also has good details. And great materials and couplings - BUT they HAVE to be because they're put under such great stress in normal use. If the cart had to operate for any lenght of time in the sticky mud or sand that looks close in the picture, the legs would bend for sure. Or say you tripped and fell sideways against the yak when under full load. They'd bend, or the joint would open up and then get sloppier and sloppier. And this is not a really fair hit as the others would have difficulty too - but how the heck do you fix it in the field? Probably by adapting it to look like Cart2a?
