Yesterday was a beautiful fall day here in Vermont, with the colors on the hill sides sparkling, as I launched my mostly completed Osprey Std. All is done except for a few more coats of varnish and the hatches.(good winter projects). The boat performed beautifully. I loved the feeling of paddling my own craft crafted with my own hands. I have not felt that before. A real high. Also loved the comments from other boaters, paddlers and motor boaters. Thanx to all for the wealth of comments on this BBS. They certainly helped. A skin boat from Putz book next.
