> 1. Why do you need to wait a month for the epoxy to dry? It may be nit-picking, but epoxy doesn't dry. It cures by undergoing a chemical reaction. It is not unusual for it to take a week or more for the expoxy to reach it's full strength. It's a good idea to let it become chemically stable before coating it with something that may react with the uncured components.

>2. What type of varnish would you recommend(they recommend Z-Spar Flagship)? I use Z-Spar Captains. Some people say it brushes easier. I've never used anything else, but have never had any reason to.

>3. Brush recommendations. Heere's where I'll get criticised. I use disposable foam brushes. I don't get a finish matching the top varnishers, but I do get good results.

>4. How many coats do I need and how much varnish would this be, a pt. or qt.? A minimum of three coats. You might make it with a pint. Buy a quart and you won't worry about running out or putting on an extra coat.

>5. Now that its getting cooler and damper here in Olympia Wa. are there any things that I should be aware of or take precautions to avoid. In other words will this weather change affect the process. (My garage is not heated.) Unlike epoxy, varnish dries by solvent evaporation which warm and dry expidites.
