My boyfriend is building me a wee lassie and the deal is I make the paddle. It will be a kayak paddle and I want it to break down into two pieces so I need a ferrule and light [carbon fiber] if possible. I am making the paddle mostly with red cedar for lightweight with a thin strip of ash on the edge that could hit the gunnels. Do these ferrules come in one or more shaft sizes. I have directions for making the paddle so all I'm missing is the gizmo!
