shawn, i just mean its kind of anchored all around, it sinks down(overbuilt boat and my weight) in the water and those edges seem to slow down lateral movement in the water, The coho is rounded and has just the entry exit edges to resist lateral movement, the mariner is something else all together, no sharp edges anywhere just rounded chines running aft but balanced well to point anywhere-just may slide sideways a bit while getting there. Here in the Chesapeake I'm getting more exposure to wind without much waves compared to calif. So I'm noticing it more. The North Bay is kind of neat in that it is low to the water and isn't as affected by the wind either.
so connected wasn't the right term.
