Thanks again guys. Since my routers are all set up for 1/4" shank, the grizzly tools sound like a winner. Especially at $40 a set. Those are carbide I would presume. And by the way, John M., on those bits you use, If they are carbide cutters, then they should never get dull. Not on a simple job ike a few strips of wood. 90% of the time, when carbide bits get to cutting bad, check the back side of the carbide and see if there is a gob of residue. If so, then take some Easy-Off over cleaner and spray them and after about 10 minutes, or so, they should wash off in warm water. Some times a second shot is needed. Then Whaaallaaaaah, new bits. This is what a lot of the saw sharpening shops do. The build-up of sap from the wood causes a burning effect much like a dull bit. Saw blades are the same. I use carbide blades on my table saw and I have used some to build 4 or 5 kitchens before I have to wash them and they are good for many more. In 10 years, I have only sharpened about 3 or 4 blades. Just a thought I could pass along unless ya'll have already heard it. Now if you drop or bang those bits on anything like a tabletop, then they will chip like glass. Thanks everyone for the tips.
