Sorry about the errant message preceeding this one. I was so excited to finally be one of the folks who post a message saying they launched their boat that I hit the button a bit prematurely. Its true though after a year and five months and many exscuses and iterruptions later I launched my Pygmy QC-17 yesterday at the Nisqually Delta in Puget Sound.

Needless to say it was very gratifying and I am most happy to be able to respond to those pesky, but "CARING" friends and relatives who asked so often whether my boat was done yet that yes it is done, thanks for asking. It was a cool somewhat blustery day and it handled quite nicely in the conditions. It was a very satisfying experience to finally launch it and enjoy a nice paddle. For all of you reading thanks for allowing me a moment to gloat it has been a long time coming.
