Here is how I mounted it.

1. Made a bulkhead out of 1/4 plywood and glassed both sides to stiffen it

2. Cut a hole with a circle cutter on my drill press to match the foot pad

3. Bought 12 stainless bolts 1/4" longer than the ones holding the pump together

4. Driled 12 holes around the bulkhead hole to align with the pump

5. Put a bead of silicone on both sides of the bulkhead hole

5. Took apart the pump and with the body of the pump on the hatch side fed the foot plate through the hole and the face plate on the cockpit side bolted the pump back together.

6. Used 1-1/2" PCV pipe from the intake through the another hole in the bulkhead with two elbow joints down to the bottom of the cockpit by my feet.

7. Fed a flexable hose from the outtake to a check valve through the deck. The second sheck valve isn't really necessary but I didn't want the hose constantly filling with water back to the pump.

8. The hole in the deck is fitted with a brass through port whose ID is the same as the OD of the check valve.

I don't have a way to post the pictures yet but I'd be happy to give you more details if you want. Most of the stuff was bought at the hardware store or West Marine
