Recently I started to build an expedition but not staple the strips,we found that the method of using dowells and tape acceptable at best so we modified that technique by using natural latex tubing. this is easier to but on and much more secure(pressure can be used as needed). We secured additional screws to each station and storongback to either push in or pull down the strips Hope this helps some folks. michael
