In building my Goldeneye, I had it propped up on end against the garage and was on the roof working on the bow. You guessed it, it fell down on the picnic table, tore the top three chines about 8 inches back form the bow (fortunately on one side only, and didn't affect the keel).We used butt plates on the inside to piece it back together and now have a beautiful "scar" and a lot less fear of ruining it by hard use.
