Mike, Find "fiber glast", I think the website is fibre glast.com. Thewy have all sorts of special fabrics. Somewhere I have a catalog laying around... If I remember right, Dynel is a polyester like polypro rope. It does not go clear, and is expensive. It is better on abrasion but not as strong as S-glass. It tends to float above the epoxy, and is hard to work although I have not tried it. Never heard of Xynole.
