I have a neoprene sprayskirt also. It came with a pocket already sewn into it. It wouldn't be large enough for a GPS but I think you could duplicate the sewing method for yours.

The pocket is stitched around the edge to prevent fraying. It is then sewn to the skirt but only through the top layer. It doesn't go all the way through. The closure is a seperate piece sewn to the skirt along the opening of the pocket. I have had this skirt for five years and the stitching along the closure is letting go at one end, but easily fixed. (I have let several people try my boat in the last year.)

Combined with Mikes glueing idea you could make a pocket for your GPS quite easily.

Just a couple of thoughts;

1- You could make the pocket with a plastic window so you could use the GPS without removing it.

2- Put a ring in the bottom of the pocket and clip you lanyard to it. It will stay inside the pocket out of the way.

Two questions;

1- Is a Techno Weenie like a Beanie Baby or a Tele Tubby?

2- What will Jerry Falwell say about Techno Weenies with pockets?
