There is no rocket science with steam bending. I followed the directions in Wolfgang's book, Camp stove,pot of boiling water, plywood box method. I milled oak strips on my table saw; soaked them for about a week, since they were dry; heat and bend...I encourage you to just go for it, you really can not mess-up...
