chesapeake light 17'

I want to build a stitch/glue kayak similar to the clc 17' but can't seem to get info off their site on design details. Specifically is the deck self supported or is there bracing required? The deck shown on the photo looks round and I'd like to know if it's bent plywood or multi-piece like the pygmy-boat I built. And finally if there are inwales or outwales ? Can anyone help?
